School Days

We are old hands at this homeschool thing. We just finished our 3rd week! It has gone well so far, though it's nothing like the "real" thing. Both girls have had trouble getting used to it.

Fiona says, "This isn't my REAL school, that's in Kansas."

Elena said, "It just doesn't FEEL like school."

I know what they mean, but this is what we must do for now so we'll make the most of it.

We are meeting in our spare bedroom. It is the spare bedroom as it has a bed in it, but that bed is covered in books and papers. There are 3 desks--and a table next to an Action Packer for Sydney--and we now have loads of cool things on the walls. I think the more we get into it, the more it'll "feel" like "real" school.

Last week, they knew their school in Burdett started and it was somehow hard to be here and not there. However, they can write to their friends and even their classes which makes them feel slightly closer.

Here are a few photos. Roger says that if we weren't so impatient, they would be better photos. I doubt any amount of patience could help me though!!!
